Last year for my birthday, my dear friend and angel on earth, Elizabeth Filoramo, planted daffodils and grape hyacinth in our yard so that we may have a special treat come spring. What fun it was to see all the blooming yellow and purple flowers after a long, cold winter! Over the years Elizabeth has taught me so much about gardening, horticulture, and about being kind to our planet. I think these organic tees are the perfect choice for this favorite design.
We are always working to have as many organic and “green” products as possible. The simple fact is that it takes 1/3 lb. of fertilizer and pesticides to produce a single cotton t-shirt. There is no question that organic farming is a better way to go. Organic cotton, eco-friendly fabrics and bamboo cloth are beginning to make their way into mainstream fashion. I am actively searching for quality “greener” tees for our designs.
Every time you see next to one of our shirts, you can be assured it is organic. |
