Lucia’s Godfather, Bobby Filoramo, wrote a special song for Matty and I as we were anxiously awaiting word that we could fly to China to pick up our daughter Lucia. The song is titled “We’ll Be There Soon” and we think it is very fitting on a t-shirt for those families also awaiting their longed-for good news.

Family Ties
Adoptive families must stay in China for two to three weeks before returning home with their babies in order for all of the paperwork to be finalized. During our stay, we did a lot of shopping actively searching for interesting gifts to bring back home. Since we never really found tees with Chinese symbols for mother, father, sister, brother, grandma, grandpa---we made our own.
